Each year the California Small Business Association convenes California Small Business Day in Sacramento, CA with the sponsorship of Affiliate Organizations, Corporate Sponsors, and Government Agencies. The event has traditionally been hosted by the Legislative Leadership, President Pro-Tem of the Senate, the Minority Senate Leader, the Speaker of the Assembly, and the Minority Assembly Leader.
The day's focus is on giving small business in California the recognition they deserve for their outstanding contributions to California. The day is comprised of speakers and an open dialogue with important Legislative Leaders. The highlight of the day is the award luncheon when State Legislator's are given the opportunity to honor a small business owner from within their district.
