Ingredients
In roasting pan, place
2 lbs beef bones w/ lots of meat
3 lbs short ribs
1/2 tsp paprika
1 c chopped yellow onions
3 cloves garlic chopped
1 bay leaf
1 tsp thyme or 2 tsp herbs de provence
**ROAST 450 uncovered until brown 20 min.

Add
8c water
8c green cabbage, coarsely chopped
2 lb chopped canned tomatoes w/ juice
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
**Bring to boil, then cover & simmer 1.5 hrs.
Skim off fat
----------
Add
1/4c chopped parsley
3 tbsp lemon juice
3 tbsp sugar
1 large can sauerkraut
**Cook uncovered 1 more hour.

Remove bones & take off meat & add meat in bite size pieces back to soup.
**Simmer.
-----------
Serve with sour cream
