A couple of weeks ago, Jake broke his arm. It happened on his 6th birthday. I feel terrible for him. He was playing on a backyard playset when he decided to "soar over the grass". His words, not mine. Needless to say, that didn't work ... [click to continue]

What a great story!!! I am so sorry to hear about his arm. That definately puts a damper on things. I broke my wrist when I was a kid during a soccer game. We all get a few bumps, bruises and breaks once in a while. Feel better Jake!

Special education is such a rewarding field. I just recently finished my first year as an intern special ed. teacher. However, I am currently unemployed. Good luck to you! Where are you going to school?

I love "The Kissing Hand"! My kids are 8 and 11 and they still ask for kissing hands every night at bedtime.
